As my orange set of necklace and earrings went to Belgium as a gift at the ECM Summer School in Tampere, Finland at the beginning of this month, I thought it best to continue this blog in English. Another reason is the fact that I am working on a necklace for my colleague Ksenija to go with her purple gala dress for the ICCA Congress in India later this year. Just in case anyone of the international audience there happens to be interested... Then I will be prepared blog-wise!

Today I gave Ksenija this creation of mine to try out with her gala dress. I was a little nervous, because it is rather unusual and something I had not tried before. It is all clay, with a short piece of chain at the back with a clasp. The colour is a mix of glitter silver, metallic silver, granite, pearl, glitter white and transparent white, with a number of layers of varnish.
Having made this has triggered my imagination even further and I hope to be able to show you more soon.
I am the one who got the orange set as ECM gift and really love it!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMany thanks for this hand made gift Willy, you made it really as it must be... a special "souvenir".
Hope we can met again one day...
Hugs from Belgium.
