Trial and error

Inspired by the necklace I made for Ksenija, I experimented some more with a full clay necklace. I tried to balance out two halfs, by using the same amount of clay for each half, using my new scales.
I have the balance right, but the shape is a bit funny. It looks more like a stethoscope than a necklace, but that is easily fixed next time I give it a try. I am happy with the flowers I made, so I have high hopes for my next try.

One of Johan's colleagues gave me her necklace that had fallen apart. It was up to me to put it back together, using new cord and new clasps. I really enjoyed the simple task of stringing the beads, and decided to do some more of it. Some wooden beads I must have had in my posession since childhood really came in handy. The necklace in the picture below even encorporates one of my hand-made beads, which I think makes a very nice combination.
